AeroCal Limited is committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our employees, whether on or off-site, so far as is reasonably practical, and recognise that the effective management of health and safety is an integral part of our business.
We also accept our responsibility for others such as visitors and contractors and customers and their contractors when off-site who may be affected by our activities.
The objectives of the Policy are to ensure that our statutory obligations are met, but these are regarded as minimum standards to be exceeded where possible. Appropriate preventative and protective measures are, and will continue to be, implemented following the identification of work related hazards and assessments of the risks associated with them.
Employees have a duty to co-operate with the Company to ensure that this policy is effective and to offer all necessary assistance to ensure the health and safety at work of all employees. Employees also have a legal duty of care. This means that they must exercise ‘reasonable skill and care’ in their relationship with the Company (their employer), colleagues and anyone else affected by their acts or omissions.
Employee’s should remain alert and if they feel that carrying out a specific task would be dangerous or observe something which in their opinion could constitute a hazard to themselves or others, then it is the employee’s duty to report this to their manager or a Director.
The Company will take such measures as may be necessary to ensure relevant training, supervision and information is available to all employees in matters pertaining to their health and safety.
The Company will consult with the employees periodically to ascertain what measures should be taken to increase awareness of health and safety and to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to make this policy effective.
The objectives of this safety statement can only be achieved through the co-operation of employees and all other persons who represent the company.
AeroCal Limited’s Health and Safety Policy will be continually monitored and updated to reflect any changes in business activities and/or legislation. The policy it will be reviewed at least annually.
